Julia Hannon Hooper is a barrel racer from Jamul, CA. Although her journey in the arena is just beginning, she is no stranger to the rodeo world. She grew up watching her mother win on the pro rodeo road across California and Arizona. Julia is bringing her own family along for the ride now. It brings her so much joy to share her love of horses and this sport with her husband and son. 

Julia’s passion for horses and competing runs deep. Now that she owns her own horse, Major Ketel aka “Tito," she wants to give him his best chance at winning. Which is why she is excited to see him excel on the best hay out there. They are currently preparing for a successful year of racing at jackpots across Southern California and are proud to have Border Valley Trading hay feeding their journies!
