Quality and feed safety go hand in hand, you cannot have one without the other. Our first priority at BVT is to deliver the customer with a product that we know is safe and of the quality they expect. This is a commitment you can be assured of when doing business with BVT. 

We understand that many of our customers feed very expensive animals that will produce milk, meat and other food for human consumption. And since the principals have a feeding facility of their own, there is a personal interest and heightened awareness of the need for safe feed.

The company has ten (10) quality control checks during the growing, harvest, transportation, storage and processing of baled hay products for export.

  1. On farm during growing season
  2. Time of harvest
  3. When sampled and tested
  4. Time of acquisition
  5. When loaded for transport to facility
  6. When off-loaded at facility
  7. When put into storage
  8. When container is cleaned
  9. When processed at facility
  10. Final inspection when container is ready for export

Our team is well trained in these processes and everyone is personally accountable to their area of expertise. Everyone at BVT is a stakeholder in the quality and safe feed assurance we give to our customers and these stakeholders take these responsibilities very seriously.
