Rye Hay

Rye Hay - is a winter annual, and in some cases, a perennial. Rye grass is grown in Central California, and is planted in the fall and harvested in the spring. 

Rye hay is known for its very soft texture and palatability. It is becoming more popular in the horse market, and is also fed to dry cows and younger cattle.
