Farmers in the Imperial Valley enjoy a dry, arid climate that produces some of the finest alfalfa hay, sudan grass, klein grass, bermuda hay and straw in the world.

Like the Imperial Valley, the San Joaquin Valley has an enormous, diversified farming sector that allows BVT to source alfalfa hay, sudan grass, oat hay, orchard grass and timothy from as far south as Bakersfield, California into the mountain regions of Northern California. The company can also source alfalfa hay and timothy out of Nevada, Utah and Southern Oregon.
