Border Valley Trading is consistently working to ensure that we can supply our customers with the most innovative and up to date packaging available in the market. This is accomplished through a close relationship with Double Press Manufacturing and several leaders in the strapping/wrapping industry. Our primary goal is to provide the customer with the most feasible, practical and economical package that works for their operation.

Border Valley is currently capable of offering double compressed product in four different bale sizes:

• 25 kg /55 lb – This bale is commonly referred to as “half cut”

  

• 50 kg/110 lb – This is known as a “full bale”

  

• 100 kg/220 lb – This is produced by compressing a 3’ X 4’ “big bale”

  

• 430 kg/ 950 lb. – This is known as a “big bale” and consists of 8 “full bales”

  

• Unitized into a PP sleeve.
• When placing bales in a container, three primary loading styles are utilized for ease of un-loading and handling upon arrival.
• Wrapped Units- units wrapped tightly with a high grade stretch film that provides a degree of protection while maintaining sufficient transparency. Each unit contains 24 half cut bales, 12 full bales, or six 100 kg bales.

  

• Bulk Loading- consists of non-wrapped bales loaded in rows. The two configurations of bulk loading are “4 X 4” or “5 X 4”. When loading “bulk” configurations a full container will hold approximately 420-432 bales.

  

• Big Bale Loading- consists of big bales loaded upright in a “2x2” configuration or flat, in a “2X3” configuration.

  

If a customer has a specific request when it comes to loading styles, Border Valley Trading will do their best to accommodate them. We realize that each customer is unique and depending upon the application there may be special needs. We always work to meet specific demands to the best of our ability.
