With two locations in California, the company has become more diverse with different sectors of the business. Whether it is company farming, new products and packaging, logistics opportunities or a strategic alliance in new markets, Border Valley Trading has made diversity a priority over the last 20 years.

These are a few of our accomplishments during this time:

• Expand sales into new, emerging markets
• Expand the Brawley facility to store and process over 200,000 tons per year utilizing 6 processing lines.
• Expand the Turlock facility to store and process 60,000 tons per year by utilizing 2 processing lines and expanding available storage.
• Add big bale processing at both plant locations.
• Expand logistics opportunities through company owned fleet of 15-LNG powered trucks and access to 15 other LNG powered trucks.
• Build out of temporary CNG/LNG fueling station in the Coachella Valley followed by a permanent site by the year 2013.
• A logistics “hub” to be located at fueling site.
• Implement “Green Initiatives” to help the environment, reduce costs and to create other logistics opportunities.
• Expand company and joint venture farming for greater “controlled supply”
• Expand supply base and buying area to include southern Oregon, Utah and Nevada.
• Expand product lines and grading for greater customer choices.
• Expand packaging options for increased customer choices.
